Today marks the end of my Enhance School Experience (ESE). Four weeks whizzed by just like that. Funny, I'm so gonna miss the school and students. As much as they get on your nerves most of the time, its hard not to like them. I was just starting to fit into the environment, but before I knew it, I'm already leaving - that kind of feeling.
.
Next week is NIE orientation. I have to be mentally prepared for the amount of workload there is to come. No kidding, I heard there are about 10 modules to be completed per semester. It was half the number in NUS. That one also already
terkial-kial seh. Nevertheless, after the ESE, I think teaching has always been my forte. Something I truly enjoy and hope to enjoy doing in the many years to come. My supervising teacher gave me some tips and pointers if I would like to consider teaching as a career. I'll bear them in mind.
.
Well, there are a few things I missed out, that are worth mentioning in my blog. Firstly, I got my first pay!! Its a big deal ok. Haha At last, the ka-ching2 is rolling in. My account balance looks nicer now. Hoping to maintain that four digit figure la. Funny how I'm more
sayang to spend my money than before. Don't think I'm getting a new hp anytime soon, since the current one is still in good working condition. So i shall put that nokia N71 on hold.
.
Some of the things I bought after getting my pay are tops and bottom fr G2000. They are having a further reduction sale. Perfect time to shop for office clothings. Bought two other tops when I went shopping with my colleagues after work the other day. Also, the Bobbi Brown lipgloss.
.
Actually there are other things I'm thinking of getting since I'm not buying the hp. Like new shoes. Sadly, the one I wanted fr URS was no longer in stock. Nasz's fav line when I told him I want to buy shoes - "U eh, eversince I know u ah, dah brape kasut tau u beli. Beratus agaknye." haha. Of coz, he's exaggerating la. I also wanna invest in a handbag. The kind which office people carry. Was thinking of TOD'S, cos they have alot of those office leather bags. But upon looking at the price,
bole kene heart attack seh..hehe I think I'll just settle for something way less expensive la.
.
Alritey, guess I'll stop here for today. Having Mendaki tuition tomorrow. Oh yah, I was offered a permanent position to teach pri 6 English. Lucky they're quite manageable, the students that is. On sunday, I'll be meeting Nasz before he leaves for his reservist next week. Guess we won't be able to watch 'the lake house' during its opening week. I have a feeling that the movie will be one of our favourites :-)
